In partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Washington County we developed two affordable homes on the 300 Block of S. West Avenue in downtown Fayetteville. We facilitated the purchase of the lot and assembled a design team including architecture firm Modus Studio, who donated architectural design services.
The two adjoining homes were designed in consultation with the homeowners to be energy efficient and to meet the needs of active families. The location in downtown Fayetteville’s Mill District is highly walkable. Homeowners can walk to a grocery store, restaurants, the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market, the library, and parks. The Razorback Greenway, adjacent to the homes, provides access to employment and natural areas. “We believe that everyone deserves to live in a neighborhood that contributes to health,” said Jeremy Hudson, CEO. “We’re proud to partner with Habitat to create affordable homes in this vibrant and connected neighborhood.” Other sponsors for the project include Procter & Gamble; Bikes, Blues, and BBQ; Bank of America; Women Build; and Bike & Build.
