Hikers walk past a mossy rock outcropping

Prairie Lizard Hike

Saturday, May 21, 10:30am

Rescheduled – Saturday, June 4, 10:30am

The rocky bluffline in the Markham Hill natural area provides habitat for many creatures  including the colorful Prairie Lizard. University of Arkansas researcher Allison Litmer studies Prairie Lizards at sites around Washington County. She has invited us to tag along on a hike where we will learn more about these animals and meet them face to face.

This program is suitable for all ages. We will be walking at least one mile on ground that may be steep, uneven, or slippery.  Please dress for the weather and terrain.

This event is FREE and open to all registered trail users.  RSVP required.
