The Three-toed Box Turtles of Markham Hill are warming up and starting to roam, and University of Arkansas researcher Elizabeth Hays is tracking their movements. Join Elizabeth for a morning of exploration in the natural areas on Markham Hill. She’ll tell us about her work and show us how she uses radio telemetry to track turtles. We should be able to meet several turtles on the hill.
This program is suitable for all ages. We will be walking on ground that may be steep, rough, or slippery. Please dress for the weather and terrain.
Water will be provided.
