DID YOU KNOW?

Seeing green isn’t always a good thing.

We’re all eager for signs of spring, but seeing green isn’t always a good thing. Urban woodlands in Northwest Arkansas turn green weeks earlier than the surrounding countryside, and it’s not cause for celebration. Bush honeysuckle  and other invasive plants leaf out earlier than native plants, robbing woodland wildflowers and tree seedlings of the sunlight they need to grow.
