Rebecca Burkes has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
In announcing the move, Jeremy Hudson, CEO and Partner said, “Rebecca’s leadership has made a tremendous contribution to our progress toward executing our development projects and delivering on our promises. Her leadership and experience will continue to move our organization forward and prepare us for growth and even greater impact in creating healthy homes.”
Burkes has served as Vice President and General Counsel since 2019. As COO, she will continue to lead the Property Operations and Finance/Administration departments and will take on additional responsibilities in other areas throughout the company.

Burkes has more than 25 years of experience in law, operations, and real estate development. She started her career on the Walmart legal team and owned and managed a real estate development and investment company in NWA. Rebecca also served as faculty at the University of Wisconsin Law School and at Luther College. Prior to joining SREG, Rebecca was Deputy Director and General Counsel at the Department of Arkansas Heritage. She holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin, an MSOM from the University of Arkansas and a JD from Baylor University.
